What I Did

Inspired by the Shinto shrines of Kyoto, Japan.
My brother and I took a trip in the fall of 2017, and after years of being inspired by documentation of the architecture of these wonders.. We had the opportunity to see it firsthand. I hoped to recreate the similar sense of communal loneliness we had amongst the Shinto shrines.
Fully addressable lighting with network communication.
Using integrated, addressable LEDs with WiFi capable controllers in each lantern – Network communication allowed lighting software full control over the entire group.
